Dear God,
Help me to focus on the positives in my life, to see them as the blessings that they are from You. Thank You for the small up-turned face that repeatedly smiled at me last night, for the little hand that preferred mine and wanted to stay so close by my side, for the giggles and hugs! Help me to forgive myself and to love me as I love that little girl and would give anything for her. Help me to see that You love me that same way. Please help the scars to continue to heal and allow me to release the pain to You and allow true joy back into my life.
